How does the Refer-a-Friend program work?
connectSCP’s Refer-A-Friend program allows you to refer friends, family, co-workers and neighbors to our internet services. Simply complete our referral form and when your referred friend signs up for our services, they’ll receive a $25 bill credit on their first bill, and you’ll receive a $25 bill credit on your next bill.
The person you refer must also be eligible to subscribe to our internet service at the time of the referral.
Is there a limit to the number of referrals I can make?
There is no limit to the number of referrals you can make. To receive the bill credit, be sure to complete the form each time you want to refer someone.
How will I know if my referral was successful?
Once your referred friend’s connectSCP internet has been installed and they’ve been billed for our services, you’ll see a $25 credit on your next internet bill.
Do I have to have MyAccount to refer a friend?
Nope! To refer a friend, all you need is to be an existing connectSCP subscriber in good standing.
Can someone be referred by multiple subscribers?
To keep our program fair, each person can only be referred once. Should someone be referred by different subscribers, we’ll use the first referral for the bill credit.
What if someone is already a connectSCP subscriber? Can I refer them?
You can only refer someone who is not a connectSCP at the time of the referral but is eligible to subscribe to our service.
The person you refer may be a South Central Power member, but they cannot be an existing connectSCP subscriber.
I am signed up for service and waiting for my internet to be installed. Can I start referring others?
Yes, if you have a pending order with connectSCP, you can begin referring others. Once your service and the service of the person your referred is installed, you can use the form to start referring others to connectSCP.
I am not eligible for connectSCP service yet. Can a current subscriber refer me?
First—thank you for waiting patiently for your address to become eligible for service. It takes time to build a network from scratch, and we appreciate you sticking with us!
Unfortunately, you must be eligible to sign up for service at the time of referral. Once your area is eligible for service, your friend can refer you. (If you’re not sure if you’re eligible, enter your address here or call us at 800-282-5064, option 2 and we can help you out.)

connectSCP reserves the right to alter or discontinue this program at any time without prior notice.
connectSCP also reserves the right to disqualify or revoke any referral rewards if, at its sole discretion, determines the program is being manipulated or abused.
Bill credits from the Refer-A-Friend program are not transferrable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
connectSCP may need to share your name with the person you referred for verification purposes. By submitting this form, you give connectSCP permission to do so.
